One of the Polish Institutes of Technology receives a continuous-flow microwave reactor
Designed and built by MARKOM, the reactor will be used for research on advanced materials. Its most important feature is the ability to precisely control and regulate microwave heating.
Key device parameters:
- Microwave power 1500 W,
- Smooth power adjustment in the range of 300–1500 W,
- Chamber dimensions approx. 34 × 20 × 34 cm,
- Uniform microwave field distribution inside the chamber,
- Modbus RTU communication protocol,
- 8 feedthroughs to the microwave chamber for introducing process materials and measurement equipment.
Such projects require close collaboration and precision. We thank the Institute’s staff for their substantive support throughout the project.
Waveguides for another research institute in the Netherlands
This year, a second research institute from the Netherlands placed an order with us.
The rapid progress of research requires precise test equipment. Among other reasons, this is why the institute chose our microwave components.
The order was unusual. The lengths of individual sections of WR340 waveguide were specified with an accuracy of 0.1 mm. We accepted the challenge and produced the components exactly as requested.
The waveguides and flanges were made from selected types of aluminium, and the joints were completed using laser welding.
The order was delivered on time.
Repeat order to France – delivered
A French research and development center placed a repeat order for a magnetron power supply from us. The first order was completed in 2024. After a year of use, the customer reported no issues with the operation of the unit.
The delivered power supplies allow precise microwave power adjustment through smooth control voltage regulation.
It is worth noting that pulse power supplies offered by MARKOM Microwaves are also used in industrial microwave systems for drying, heating, and supporting chemical processes. Wherever magnetrons are the source of microwaves.
Delivery of WR340 Microwave Waveguides to a Research Centre in the Netherlands
We delivered WR340 waveguides to a research centre in the Netherlands. The scope of the order included E-bend and H-bend waveguides as well as other 2450 MHz components, all manufactured with precision and according to specifications.
All waveguides were made of aluminium and tailored to the client’s individual requirements. Special attention was given to the surface finish quality – a key parameter for efficient transmission in the 2450 MHz band. The use of WR340 standard and advanced manufacturing methods (CNC machining and laser welding) ensures high precision and repeatability.
The selection of our offer was no coincidence. The contract was awarded thanks to our flexible approach to R&D and industrial needs, a favourable quality-to-price ratio, and comprehensive technical support at every stage of the collaboration. Stellarator, Plasma Reactor and Microwave Components
Microwave transmission line components, designed and manufactured by MARKOM Microwaves, have been successfully installed and commissioned in the C2-A stellarator prototype.
The first batch of vacuum windows and waveguides has been integrated into the plasma reactor developed by the Israeli company nT-Tao.

It’s an advanced system for conducting controlled plasma fusion — a process that may become the future of clean energy generation.
nT-Tao’s goal is to develop compact plasma reactors that fit into a standard shipping container and are capable of producing sustainable electrical energy without generating hazardous radioactive waste.

This Time Switzerland – Delivery Completed!
We are pleased to announce the shipment of the first batch of important microwave components to a Swiss research and industrial center specializing in advanced plasma systems.
Microwave Induced Plasma (MIP) requires specialized components. Our parts perform key functions:
- Microwave Magnetron Head (MMH) generates the energy necessary to create plasma,
- Isolator protects the system from harmful reflected waves.
This is another delivery for an international institution.
The delivered components will support scientific research and industrial plasma applications, including in materials engineering and surface processing.
